Today I am going to show you guys my ultimate sexy Valentines day look! I believe the sexiest makeup is something that you feel comfortable in and illuminates your features. It should be something your significant other feels like they can touch and kiss you without “messing you up.” I usually say steer away from a red/dark/colourful lip as those aren't always the most kissing friendly ;) Here is the look I created:
Let’s start off with a step by step on the eye look…
Starting from top left and moving across, (1) start with a clean primed lid. Next up (2) apply a matte creamy hue all over the lid (I used Blanc Type by MAC Cosmetics). Then take a (3) crease blending brush and buff a nice warm brown through the crease (I used Brown Script by MAC Cosmetics). Then we want to (4) go into the deepest part of our crease and darken it a bit further, take a darker brown and a smaller blending brush and concentrate your application in a smaller space (I used Handwritten by MAC Cosmetics). Go ahead and (5) highlight your brow bone using something shimmery (I used Soft and Gentle by MAC Cosmetics). I then took (6) a white liner and ran it along my lower waterline to really open up my eyes. Next up (7) take the same warm brown (first crease colour) and drag it along your lower lash line meeting it with the upper lid shadow. (8) Deepen your lash line just a bit using the dark brown hue, just run this shadow tight along your lash line. Using this technique will create a nice faded effect.
There you have it - a nice soft and sultry eye look! For your complexion keep things warm to compliment your eye look, a nice warm contour/bronzer and a peachy pink blush. Highlight your cheekbones, nose and cupids bow using a shimmery highlight (I used Soft and Gentle by MAC Cosmetics).
Now for the lips…
We are going to go for a nice nude pouty lip. Here is how to create it! Starting from the top left and moving across and back down, (1) take a bit of concealer and nude out your lips. Doing this removes any pink or red undertones allowing for the nude lipstick to look very true to colour. Next up, (2) line your lips with a lip liner about a shade darker than your natural lips (I used Spice by MAC Cosmetics). Then (3) pick a nude that works for you, I choose something with a peachy undertone to compliment the rest of the look and my skin tone (I used NARS Lipstick Pencil in Borelo). Feel free to finish off the look with a nude/clear gloss! I left my look matte :)
Hope you guys enjoyed my blog post and I look forward to meeting you on social media ;) Good luck recreating this look or a look inspired by this! All the best beautifying and I wish you all a sexy, sultry V-Day! oXo
